My sincerest condolences go out to the Brad Sheppard Family. May you have peace, comfort and strength. Brad as I knew him was a great friend. I met Brad back in 1986. He and I worked at Stauffer Chemicals in #8 Unit. I learned a lot from Brad as we worked together. And working together on the graveyard shift when all was calm and the unit was running smoothly, Brad would pull out his harmonica and play some awesome music. I was truly impressed by his playing some great tunes. I never saw Brad get excited or in a hurry. Till one day working nights John Gordon our other co-worker called Brad on the radio with urgency, the unit was going down and Brad picked up his pace. Then there was silence and the lights went out for total darkness and the unit was down. But Brad with total calmness told John and I to secure the unit and prepare for the unit start up. He proceeded and was calling people to come in for a plant start up.
But, yes I have great memories of working with him and they were great ones. Brad, you´re going to be missed, may you rest in peace and have eternal rest.
Your friend, Andy Hernandez from Houston Texas.Stauffer Chemicals #8 Unit.

Dear family of Brad. I Will miss Brad so very much. We sat together every night last September at Fiddle Fest. Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield. I always admired his enthusiasm and dedication to learn to play Fiddle. He did it. And it was nice to see Brad so incredibly happy. We will miss you Brad. Our Circles of fiddlers will be playing on in memory of you. Thank you Brad for enriching our lives with your spirit. May He Rest In Peace. Tammy Thimesch. Fiddle playing Friend.
