Brandon Scott was born on July 25, 1989, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Donald L and Sara J. (Kapper) Frichtl. Brandon grew up on the family farm, where he dedicated his life to farming and raising livestock. From a young age, Brandon was drawn to farm life- starting with plowing the carpet and sandbox as a toddler to eventually working the real fields. As a boy, he looked forward to every day spent on the farm, working alongside his dad, brothers, uncles, and cousins. He learned early what it meant to work hard- whether it was daily chores, farming, or his least favorite task, tending to the pigs. Brandon had a quiet demeanor and a kind, giving heart. He was loved deeply by his family and friends for his infectious giggle and his constant willingness to help others. His easy going personality and quick wit made him a joy to be around. You could often find Brandon cruising the countryside with his beloved dog, Lilly, by his side. He loved being outdoors and found peace in nature. To his nieces and nephews, he was affectionately known as "Uncle Beef". He lit up their lives with his playful teasing, contagious laughter, and boundless energy. Whether it was a game of cards, boardgame, or just spending time together, he was always the fun, favorite uncle who brought joy and laughter to every gathering.
