Brandon was born on November 14, 2006 in Mount Kisco, NY. He attended elementary school and middle school in Chappaqua, NY and relocated to Ridgefield with his family in 2021. He graduated from Ridgefield High School with the Class of 2025 and was planning to enter Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA this fall.
Brandon competed on the varsity lacrosse, soccer and track teams at Ridgefield High School. He also played for the Express North Lacrosse Club and Beachside Soccer Club. Brandon enjoyed health and fitness as well as a wide variety of music.
Brandon is survived by his parents, Daniel and Raquel; his sisters, Sienna, Ariana and Angelina as well as his dog, Cody. Brandon also is survived by his paternal grandmother, Michael Gmelin; his maternal grandparents, Pedro and Edith Vale; his maternal great grandmother Felicita Vale; his aunts and uncles, Lissett Moran, Peter Vale, and Pat Gmelin and his cousins, Byron, Emilia, Gabriella and Santiago. In addition to his immediate and extended family members, Brandon is also survived by many special friends, teammates and classmates. Brandon was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Jim Gmelin.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. A prayer vigil and an opportunity to pay tribute and share memories of Brandon will begin at 6:45 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Saint Mary's Church; 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Ridgefield.
