Brandon Cole Hart
July 7, 1999 – July 2, 2025
With hearts heavy yet grateful for the time we were blessed to share with him, we announce the passing of Brandon Cole Hart, a radiant soul whose presence could light up any room, whose laugh could melt the weight of the world, and whose heart beat with boundless generosity and fierce love. Brandon passed from this life far too soon, on July 2, 2025, just five days before what would have been his 26th birthday. He was born on July 7, 1999, in Fort Worth, Texas to his devoted parents, Todd Christen Hart and Jamie Diane Tillery-Hise-who welcomed into this world a firecracker, bursting with life, wonder, and a contagious, unstoppable energy.
From his earliest days, Brandon was a spark in motion. He was filled with laughter, curiosity, and just the right dose of mischief to keep life interesting and his loved ones smiling. He had a smile that could disarm the darkest day and a heart that reached far beyond himself. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation, who would make you laugh even when you didn't feel like smiling, and who lived each moment with joy, intention, and unshakable love.
Brandon was adored-not just liked or known-but truly loved. People gravitated toward him. There was something magnetic about his soul, a light that shone through his eyes, a warmth that could be felt simply by standing near him. Even as a child, his kindness and radiant spirit drew others to him like moths to a flame. He was a brother, a son, a grandson, a coworker, and a friend-but more than anything, he was beloved in every role he filled.
Adventure pulsed through Brandon's veins. He was never one to sit still when the world was calling him to explore it. One of his favorite escapes was Tishomingo, Oklahoma, a place where memories were etched into stone and water-where he spent countless weekends swimming, cliff jumping, and letting the thrill of nature feed his soul. As a young man, he found joy and adrenaline in dirt biking, racing along the dusty trails scattered across the Metroplex with the wind at his back and freedom in his heart.
Brandon shared a special, unbreakable bond with his dad and brother, forged through hours spent on disc golf courses, where the joy of the game was always second to the laughter they shared. No matter the weather-rain or shine-they were out there, laughing through the trees, searching for rogue discs, and making memories at courses like Ash Creek in Azle, which became a sacred ground for their cherished time together.
His beloved Mercedes-Benz, always polished and pristine, was a symbol of his unique style and love for the simple pleasures. Windows down, music up, cruising through town with confidence and contentment, Brandon found joy in the moment and shared that joy with everyone around him. His passion for gaming, especially the hours spent dominating on Black Ops, was not just about winning, but about connection-especially with his brother Andy. They shared many late-night victories and belly laughs over FaceTime, separated only by distance but never in spirit.
Basketball was another part of Brandon's heartbeat. After work, he'd often rally his coworkers for a pick-up game, and many evenings ended with long sessions at the Azle courts, playing under the fading sun with his dad, brother, and close friends, the sound of dribbling and laughter echoing into the Texas twilight.
Professionally, Brandon was a certified welder at IMS, where he devoted over six years to his craft. But welding was more than a job to him-it was a form of creation, a way to turn raw material into something meaningful, lasting, and strong. He earned his certification through hands-on experience and courses provided through his workplace, always eager to grow and refine his skill. But beyond the torch and the steel, Brandon loved to build-with his hands, his mind, and his heart. He brought ideas to life and reveled in the process of shaping something from nothing.
He held a deep reverence for the water, especially the ocean, and rarely turned down the chance to fish, to cast a line into still waters and wait in quiet anticipation. That same serenity carried through in his calm demeanor and the way he embraced every experience with openness and enthusiasm.
Brandon was known for his great sense of style and took pride in his appearance. He always made sure he looked sharp-not out of vanity, but because he believed in presenting his best self to the world. He embodied confidence, kindness, and character all at once.
He spent the first part of his life in Boyd, Texas, where his roots were planted and his sense of family began to bloom. Later, he moved to Haslet, Texas, where he continued to grow and attend school through Northwest ISD, forming friendships and collecting memories along the way.
Brandon leaves behind a family who loved him with a depth that words can scarcely express: his mother, Jamie Hise and her husband Scott; his father, Todd Hart and his wife Lesley; his devoted brother, Andrew Hart; and four loving siblings who were family not through blood but through love-Hailee Hise, Emily Canada, Toby Canada, and Trever Canada-all of whom shared bonds, memories, and a life with Brandon that they will carry forever.
He is also mourned by his grandparents, James and Diana Brewer and Richard and Patty Hart, who cherished him beyond measure. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Phillip Tillery and Dwayne Brierton, and by his grandmothers Peggy Todd and Dee Ann Brierton, who surely welcomed him with open arms into eternal peace.
Brandon's life was rich in family, full of friendships, and deeply layered with laughter, loyalty, and love. He leaves behind a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose hearts are heavier for his absence but fuller for having known him.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Tuesday evening, July 15, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Azle Funeral Chapel on the grounds of Azleland Cemetery. His life will be celebrated with a funeral service the following morning, Wednesday, July 16, at 10:00 AM, also at the Azle Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow at Azleland Cemetery.
Though his time on Earth was brief, Brandon Cole Hart lived with a fire, a freedom, and a fullness that many never achieve in a lifetime. His legacy is one of laughter, loyalty, adventure, and love. And while the world feels dimmer without his light, we take comfort in knowing that he gave us more than memories-he gave us a living example of how to love boldly, laugh deeply, and live fearlessly.
Forever in our hearts, always in our stories, and never truly gone-Brandon, we love you more than words can ever say.
