Brenda Faye Girlinghouse

November 17, 1961 - July 8, 2025

Funeral services celebrating the life of Brenda Faye Girlinghouse will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Pineville Park Baptist Church, Pineville with the Rev. Jeremy Shepherd officiating, followed by interment in French Cemetery, Effie, La.

Visitation will on Friday evening from 6-8 PM and on Saturday morning from 9:30 until time of services, all in the church.

Ms. Girlinghouse, age 63 of Deville, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at her residence.

Brenda Faye was a longtime member of Pineville Park Baptist Church, where she was very active in her church and was a very devoted Christian who was faithful to the Lord. She was always known to be a very loving and friendly person who never met a stranger. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing with her pets, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Faye Girlinghouse and her aunt and uncle, Cedric and Hazel Dunn.

She is survived by her brother, Walter Girlinghouse (Stephanie) of Deville, her niece and nephew, Tasha Hernandez (Joey) of Dry Prong and Josh Ray (Erin) of Pineville, and her great nephews, Landyn Hernandez and Jaydon Hernandez of Dry Prong, Tristan Ray and Riley Ray of Pineville.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be; Landyn Hernandez, Jaydon Hernandez, Tristan Ray, Riley Ray, Joey Hernandez and Josh Ray.

Funeral Arrangements have been placed in the care of Fall Creek of Louisiana Funeral Home, Pineville. Robbie Dauzat, Director.
