Frank Hamilton, born in Eutaw, Alabama, on May 9, 1929, to Hannah Wilder and Lawrence Hamilton, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025. A proud graduate of Eatmon High School, Frank built a life rooted in faith, hard work, and service to others.
He served honorably in the United States Army and later found his calling as a self-employed truck driver. Known for his strong work ethic and integrity, Frank also had a deep passion for cooking and baking, delighting family and friends with his homemade creations.
Frank's life was defined by his devotion to God, his love for family, and his generosity of spirit. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin, whose kindness touched everyone he met.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his son Kenny, daughters Elaine and Mattie, his siblings, Alfonzo Hamilton, Sr., James Otis Hamilton, Leslie Hamilton, Lawrence Hamilton, Jr., Essie Wider, Mattie Hall, Mildren Gray, Johnnie Bertha Wilder, Deanna Eatmon, Joanna Brown, Evelyn Lemon, Allie Ward, and Iteria Hamilton.
His memory will be forever treasured by his devoted wife, Carrie, daughters, Patricia Paul-Pickett of Duluth, Georgia, Sharon A. Hamilton-Robinson of Jacksonville, Florida, brother, Jesse Hamilton of Washington, DC. The love he gave echoes through generations held tenderly by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, along with his beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and the many dear friends who shared in his life. Frank's presence was a quiet strength, a steady hand, and a comforting voice. Though he has departed, the bonds he nurtured remain strong, and the stories of his kindness will be told for years to come. His family finds peace in knowing he is at rest, and joy in carrying forward the love he so freely gave.
