Brittany Michelle Behlmann of Springfield, Missouri, age 34, passed away
peacefully on July 30, 2025. Born on August 7, 1990, Brittany was a radiant soul
whose warmth, creativity, and love for the simple joys in life touched everyone
who knew her.
A 2009 graduate of Ash Grove High School, Brittany went on to earn a
degree in Criminal Justice at ITT Technical Institute and was part of the class of
2012. She was driven, clever, and always found a unique way to bring her
creativity into the everyday–whether it was through her work, hobbies, or her
style.
Brittany was known for her love of doing her nails, a small but vibrant outlet
where her artistic spirit truly shined. Those who knew her well could always count
on her nails to be as bold and beautiful as her personality. Her loyal dog, Millie,
was her constant companion in confidante–an inseparable part of her life and
heart.
Brittany is preceded in death by her beloved memaw, Carolyn McIntosh;
Grandmother, Edith Kane; Grandfather, Thomas Kane; Cousin, Jessica Medcalf;
and her fur baby Halo whom her business page was named after. Brittany carried
their love and memories with her always.
She leaves behind a loving family and many dear friends. She is survived
by her Husband, Rick Behlmann (married on October 10, 2020); Mother, Colene
Langenwalter; Sister, Shelby Holt; Father, Bobby Kane; Several aunts and
uncles; a host of cousins; and countless friends who were blessed by her
generous heart and vibrant spirit.
Brittany will be remembered for her creativity, her honesty, her laughter,
and the way she lit up a room just by being in it. Her presence was a gift, and her
absence will be deeply felt by all who loved her.
In honoring Brittany's life, we remember a woman who was
unapologetically herself; creative, caring, and full of love. May her light continue
to shine in our memories and the lives she touched.
