Brooke Amber Braden, 37, of Dix, Illinois, passed away at 9:22 pm July 6, 2025 at Washington County Hospital in Nashville, Illinois. She was born September 17, 1987 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Danny Gene and Kellie Ann (Trowbridge) Braden.
In addition to her parents, Danny Gene and Kellie Ann (Trowbridge) Braden, Brooke is survived by her brothers, Branden Braden and wife, Krista of Grayville, Illinois and Justin Braden of Mount Vernon, Illinois; nephew, Hunter Braden of Princeton, Indiana; aunts and uncles, Robin Glover and husband, Rob of Ashley, Illinois, Scott Braden and wife, Karen of Ashley, Illinois, Tammy Braden of Ashley, Illinois, Debra Ray and husband, David of Fairfield, Illinois, James Braden and wife, Lynda of Bluford, Illinois, and Misty Braden of Bluford, Illinois; maternal grandmother, Billie Sue Trowbridge of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and paternal grandmother, Linda Lee Braden of Bluford, Illinois; and long term boyfriend, Wesley Williams.
Brooke was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Walter Faye Trowbridge and paternal grandfather, Frank Braden.
A Visitation will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Mount Zion Cemetery in Bluford, Illinois A Graveside Service will begin at 2:00 pm with Mr. Chris Bean officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Brooke's honor to Hughey Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
