Bruce was born on June 30, 1942. Born and raised in Leominster, MA, he was the son of Lucien and Catherine (Cahill) Dombrowik. He graduated Leominster High School in 1960.

Bruce was a man strongly devoted to his faith and the Lord throughout his life, reading the Bible daily, carrying his rosary beads with him everywhere. He spent two years studying Theology in college in Minnesota. He was drafted into the U.S. Army for 2 years, afterwards proudly enlisting into the United States Air Force for 4 years, where he proudly served as a medic, stationed several years in Germany, then in Houston, Texas. While serving in the U.S. Air Force. He married the love of his life for 57 years, Angela M. (Pesce) Dombrowik, who he sadly lost in 2023. He worked for Vogue Wallcovering in Fitchburg, for approximately 35 years, until his retirement.

Bruce is survived by his five children: his son Robert Dombrowik of Fitchburg; his daughter Deborah Dombrowik of Leominster; his daughter Sharon Esper and her husband Edward of Rindge, N.H.; his daughter Rebecca Brogna and her husband Joseph of Lunenburg; and his daughter Amy Keenan and her husband Shannon of Gardner. He leaves a brother Frederick Dombrowik, a sister Jane Pelletier, a sister Barbara Ducharme and her husband Charles, and a sister-in-law Sheila Dombrowik. He leaves 10 grandchildren: Samantha, Douglas, Sydney, Edward, Joseph, Gina, Jack, James, Thomas, and Scarlet. He leaves 8 great-grandchildren: Kaiden, Makayla, Bria, Chaz, Masimo, Lilly, Yennefer, and Alex.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Angela M. (Pesce) Dombrowik in 2023, and his brother, Dean Dombrowik.

After serving in the United States Air Force, Bruce developed an interest and love for aviation, airplanes, and flight simulation. He hobbied communicating world-wide via morse code, holding and keeping current the highest level of Ham Radio licensure. He enjoyed attending air shows, ham radio and morse code, fishing, feeding the birds daily, the latest electronic gadgets, his dogs, and in his younger years, the Thanksgiving Leominster football game, where he rooted Leominster, as he was a LHS football player in his high school years, while his children sat opposing side rooting FHS.

The family would like to extend their gratitude for the kindness and compassionate care provided by the Leominster UMass Healthalliance Palliative, Hospice, Pastoral Care, CriticalCare Unit, and Med Surg Unit.
