Bruce T. Reiter, of Hyde Park, born on January 9, 1948, died on July 3, 2025, at The Eleanor Nursing Center.
Bruce was the son of the late Thomas B. Reiter and Catherine (Pat) Casey Reiter and the husband of Maureen K. Tracy-Reiter. Bruce attended Troy High School and then served as a United States Marine, stationed aboard the USS Boston during the Vietnam War.
Survivors in addition to his wife are his children from his first marriage to Carol Reed, Kyle Miglucci of Watervliet, Kate (Matt) Lansing of Loudonville and Kevin (Liz) Reiter of Clifton Park; beloved cousin Cathy (George) Wasilczyk of Boca Raton, FL; his brothers Paul H. ( Beverly) Reiter of Johnsonville, the late Robert M. Reiter and surviving spouse Deborah of Stephentown, Thomas B. (Jean) Reiter of Troy and Vincent J. Reiter of Watervliet; along with his grandchildren Skylar, Colin, Jack, Cole, Landan, Leah, and Sam.
Bruce's family would like to thank his wife's cousins Paul and Ann Tracy, Brian Tracy and aides including Carolyn Francis and Jessica for their support and caring during his illness.
At Bruce's request, cremation will take place at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. Interment will be made at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Services will be announced at a later date.
