Bryan Lee King, 63, of Altavista, Virginia passed away on Friday, January 17,2025. He was the son of the late Donahue James King (Don), and Virginia McCray King.
Bryan was born on August 29, 1961, in New York. He later spent his childhood in Clearlake, Houston, Texas. He enlisted in the U.S Army in 1982 and, after two decades of devoted service, retired as Master Sergeant in 2002.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Marie King; Children, Tracy Clark and husband Matthew, Angela Renegar and Husband Sumner; Two grandchildren, Thomas Clark, and Jameson Clark; Siblings, Donna Smith and Bruce King and wife Katie; nephews, Logan and Spencer King; niece, Jenna Smith; great-niece, Ava Smith; aunt, Frances McCray Davis and many cousins and friends.
Bryan was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed sharing tales from his military experiences. His resilience and strength were not only admirable, but also profoundly influenced those close to him. His stories and laughter will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
