Bryan Renz Obituary

Fort Myers, FL - Bryan H. Renz, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away, with his daughters at his side, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the age of 65. He was born on Sept. 2, 1959 to James T. Renz and Patricia A. (Howe) Renz.
Bryan embraced life with a sense of adventure. Born and raised in Plymouth, Indiana, Bryan graduated from Plymouth High School in 1978 and had a long career as a welder in Indiana. He loved music, especially classic rock, and would travel near and far to see his favorite bands play a live show, seek out a great meal, or catch a high school basketball game. He was proud to make Fort Myers, Florida his home in recent years.
Those who knew Bryan well remember him as an easygoing, kind, and selfless person. He was always willing to lend a hand when needed. Bryan lovingly adopted his daughters, Ericka and Ashley, and fully embraced his role as a father.
Bryan loved comedy and humor. His family will cherish memories of his funny personality, and all of the laughter he brought into their lives. As you reflect on memories of years past, please continue to smile and laugh, just as Bryan would have wanted.
Bryan is survived by his daughters, Ericka (Ryan) Williams of Elkhart, Ashley (CJ) Worm of South Bend, and Kristen (Justin) Basham of Walkerton; grandchildren, Carli, Colson, Kyra, Brylie, Paige, Jaxon, Joshua, Jordan, Jared; great-grandchildren, Celissa, and Alessandro and Asher; his siblings, Sherry (Jack) Samar of Woodbridge, VA, Greg (Mercy) Renz Fishers, IN, and Robin (Scott) Stamm of Warsaw, IN; in addition to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Patricia; along with his brother, James D. Renz.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home with Life Celebrant James Smart officiating. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the start of the service.
Bryan will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth.
