James Duff Obituary

On March 8, 2025, Jim died peacefully at Emanuel Hospital surrounded by his daughter, Tiffany, and wife, Mary. Jim was born and raised in Astoria, Ore. After graduating from Astoria High School, Jim attended Oregon State and Portland State University where he met Mary Sprouse. They married on February 3, 1967. Jim and Mary welcomed two children, John and Tiffany.
Jim worked for Oilco and Northwest Pump and Equipment. He was well respected in his career. He loved playing sports and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Tiffany (David); grandchildren, Zach and Lilly; and sisters, Karen Spencer and Christine Hoffman.
A celebration of life will be held on May 4, 2025, at the Milwaukie Elks Club, 13121 SE McLoughlin Blvd., Oak Grove, Ore., 97222, 2 to 4 p.m. Come as you are and share your favorite stories and memories.
