Carla Adams Obituary

Carla Ann Adams passed away May 23, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on May 29, 1944, in Ozark, she was the daughter of Carl and Edna (Glenn) Blevins.

Carla grew up in Ozark, and was a member of Selmore Christian Church. She was a 1962 graduate of Ozark High School. On January 3, 1963 she was united in marriage to Mike Adams.

Carla enjoyed spending time with her family and tending her Beefmaster cattle. She attended Finley River Cowboy Church in Highlandville.

Survivors include: her husband Mike Adams of Nixa; her daughter, Mollie Howard and her husband, Brian of Sparta; her grandchildren, Megan Swayne of Ozark and Kendall Finley along with her husband Tyron, also of Ozark; her great-grandchildren, Bub, Kingston, Breccan, Bronx, Lillian, and Kanyon; her sister, Kathy Taylor and husband Jack of Ozark; her nephew, Ryan Barton; her niece, Brooke Smith and husband Paul; and her amazing rodeo family and their lifelong friendships.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark, with Pastor Jeff Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at McCauley Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., immediately before the funeral at the funeral home.
