Carlos Gilbert Butler
Carlos Gilbert Butler, 77, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Mississippi Care Center in Raleigh, MS. Funeral services will be 2:30pm Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with visitation starting at 2pm. Burial will follow at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Smith County, MS.
Carlos was born on August 19, 1947, to Archie Gilbert Butler and Doris Jean Gilmore Butler. He attended church at Sardis Baptist Church and White Oak Baptist Church. Carlos loved to ride down the road in his truck and listening to his CB radio, especially during hunting season.
Survivors include his aunt, Linda Gilmore Cuevas; cousins, Howard Cuevas, Leslie Cuevas, Ann Cupp, Danni Asplin, Larry Myers, Vale Myers, Gibby Myers, Elizabeth & Buddy Vanderford, Joy & Larry Thompson, Rhonda Azevedo, Alicia Sirdevan, Beverly Pennebaker, David Smith, Sandra Mahaffey, Richard Crout, Susan Ezell, Edna James, Paulette Butler, Jessie Butler, Walter Butler, Brenda Snellgrove, Kay & Charlie O’Brian, and Joy Lee & Rick Clayton.
