Carlos Ramon Leonard "Los Daddy" of La Plata, MD transitioned November 22, 2025.

With deep love and profound gratitude for his life, the family of Carlos Leonard celebrates the legacy of a remarkable son, brother, uncle, friend, and creative soul whose presence touched every life he encountered. Carlos transitioned from this life into eternal rest, leaving behind a tapestry of memories woven with humor, wisdom, creativity, and unwavering love. Carlos was a man of many gifts. From a young age, his talents were undeniable-he began cutting hair at just nine years old, discovering a passion that would shape a lifelong journey. As a master barber, he brought confidence, joy, and connection to countless people, using his chair as a place where stories were shared and hearts were uplifted. Children were his sweet spot, and he enjoyed teaching them how to play checkers.

A brilliant mind and lifelong learner, Carlos was an avid reader who devoured relentless books, always seeking knowledge, deeper meaning, and personal growth. His love for expanding his mind reflected his spiritual curiosity. While he was a firm believer in Jesus Christ, Carlos explored other spiritual perspectives with respect and openness, desiring to understand the world more fully. His faith was sincere, personal, and deeply felt.

Creativity flowed through every part of who he was. He held several professional jobs, contributing his talents as a printer, graphic artist, editor of newsletters, and brochures in state industries. His artistic eye and attention to detail made his work stand out. Carlos also expressed his heart through poetry, once writing a book of poems dedicated to his beloved mother during a trying time, a gift she treasures forever. His words carried the same warmth, introspection, and passion he brought to life.

Carlos loved music and expressed himself by filling rooms with songs, laughter, and light, and even once by playing in a band. His sense of humor was unforgettable, quick, clever, and contagious. Many joked that he looked and acted like Mike Epps.

Above all, family was everything to him. He loved Aline and Elijah with all his being. Aline was his "Sunshine." His mother was his heart-his greatest inspiration and the one he loved beyond measure. Carlos admired his older brothers, Arron, Jason, and Anthony, and his sister, Tamika, whose bond was unbreakable. He cherished every moment with them and took pride in the strength and unity of their family.

Carlos leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, creativity, and joy. He lived authentically, thought deeply, laughed loudly, and gave freely. Though his physical presence will be deeply missed, his spirit, humor, and wisdom will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him. The family rejoices knowing that Carlos is now at peace, surrounded by Heaven's beauty, continuing his journey in the presence of God. May his life inspire all of us to love hard, think deeply, create boldly, and never lose our sense of humor.
