Carmen Ann Skophammer was born in Jackson, Minnesota on January 27, 1933. She was the daughter of Joseph and Ester (Larson) Ascheman.
Carmen was united in marriage to Duane Skophammer on July 8, 1957 at Central Lutheran Church. She was employed in the accounting department in the meat industry for 37 years.
Carmen died on July 2, 2025, she was 92 years old. She is survived by son Randy and his wife Heidi of Albert Lea, MN. Also by two grandsons Jordan Lee and his wife Elizabeth "Liz" and their son Graham of Bloomington; Parker Thomas and his wife Heidi, and their children Palmer and Collins of Mankato; her brother William "Bill" and his wife Judy Ascheman of Jackson, MN; sister-in-law Karen Ascheman of Jackson, MN; and sister-in-law Phyllis Ulland of Hollandale, MN.
Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Skophammer, brother Everett Ascheman, sister-in-law Lois and brother-in-law Olaf Lunde, brother-in-law Robert Skophammer and brother-in-law Ross Ulland.
In respect and honor of Carmen's wishes, a private family service and interment will be held.
Carmen was a wonderful, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother, she will be missed greatly.
