WAREHAM – Carol A. (Studley) Alden, 86, of Wareham and Bradenton, FL, died Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. She was the wife of John Alden.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Edwin & Elizabeth (Kirdulis) Studley. A long-time resident of Wareham, Carol was a hairdresser and owned Carol's Clip and Curl on Main Street in Wareham.
Carol was a devout Catholic. An active parishioner of St. Patrick's Church in Wareham, she served the church as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. She was also a member of the Tobey Hospital Guild.
Carol enjoyed spending time at the beach, taking long walks and had tremendous love for her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, John; her son, Shawn Patrick Alden and his wife Selena of Wareham; and her grandsons, Benjamin J. Alden and Cameron D. Alden.
Visiting hours will be Friday, July 11, 2025 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4 – 7 PM. Her funeral will be from the funeral home on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church, High Street, Wareham at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Wareham.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 82 High St., Wareham, MA 02571.
