Carol A. (Jencks) Ball, age 70, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025 at Brentwood Nursing Home with her family by her side. She was the wife of Donald Ball. Born in Warwick, she was one of nine children born to the late Charles E. and Rita T. (Kennedy) Jencks.

As a longtime CNA for the Greenwood Center Nursing Home, Carol was a natural caretaker who found fulfillment in tending to and fostering relationships with the patients she cared for over the years. When she wasn't working, she loved watching and cheering for the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Above all else, she loved surrounding herself and spending time with those who made her happy.

Carol was the devoted mother of Samantha Shea, Tabatha Anderson of Tennessee and Sabrina Hanning; cherished 'Memé' of Eric, Alexys, Mark, Malory, Fred, Asher, Rylee, Victoria and Cassidy and great-grandmother of Aubree, Tatum, Vincenzo, Thomas, Celine and Marcel. She was the sister of Cheryl Britland, Patricia Howard, Charles Jencks III, Dennis Jencks and the late Donna Rodier, Rita Haskins, Debra Fraime and Dianne Silva.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 2-4PM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. She will be inurned in the RI Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exter on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 2PM. Relatives and Friends are invited to gather outside of the cemetery administration building at 1:45PM.
