With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our cherished Carol Jean Ballard age 82, of Warrenton, MO, who passed away on July 23, 2025. Carol was born on February 24, 1943 in St. Louis, MO, to the late Edward and Betty Anderson. Carol was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She devoted her life to Faith, Family, Friends, kindness, and was most known by the name Jeannie. Carol worked in a bakery, as a waitress, bar maid, and manager, although her most precious job was being a mother. Carol was blessed with six children, survived by Pam (Gary) Whitlock, James Ballard Jr., Mike Ballard, Melissa Hendrickson, 28 grandkids, and many wonderful great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband James Ballard and two daughters, Christina Ballard and Patricia Ballard. Carol’s generous spirit and loving heart made her a guiding light to countless individuals. Her legacy of kindness and her love of the Lord will continue to shine brightly in the lives she touched. Her warm smile and genuine compassion lit up every room she entered. One of her greatest gifts was being able to capture beautiful moments and memories in photographs. Carol was a cherished soul, a source of wisdom with the remarkable ability to inspire hope in others. She will be dearly missed by all who graced her path.
