Born in Vallejo CA 12/20/48 and passed peacefully in Wichita Falls, TX on 07/03/25 surrounded by love and friendship.
Leaving behind her 3 children Anthony Evans, Lavon Bernal husband Jessie, Elizabeth Houston husband Wayne, 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brother Ernest Roy Grote Jr., Mother Lillian Bryant, Father Ernest Grote Sr., previous husbands Lloyd Stowers and Wayne Burris.
Carol spent most of her life in Vacaville CA, lived in Arizona for a short time and settled in lowa Park, TX. In every place she called home she left behind a trail of sweet memories and lasting friendships. Carol enjoyed shopping, baking, crafting, and socializing with friends.
She will be missed dearly, remembered always and loved forever.
