Chadwick, Missouri
Carol Sue Caudill, 74 years, 11 months, 19 days old, passed away on July 11, 2025, at her home, with her family by her side.
Carol was born July 23, 1950, in Tyler, Texas, to Dewie and Mary Jo (Acker) Kellis.
Carol was raised in Chapel Hill, Texas. She raised her kids in Ben Wheeler, Texas. She also worked as a kitchen manager at the Shed Café in Edom, Texas.
She moved to Missouri in the late 1980's and found work in Branson. Carol met Carroll on a setup by their kids on the Branson Belle. From then on they were meant to be.
On March 9, 2019, Carol and Carroll Dennis Caudill were united in marriage.
She enjoyed traveling with Carroll, flowers, gardening, and being in the outdoors. She was a hard worker when she was able to work. Carol loved being with her kids and grandkids.
She was a Christian and enjoyed attending church and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Dewie and Mary Jo and her late husband, Kenneth Thomas.
Carol is survived by her husband, Carroll; her children, Dedra Crocker, Lawanna Cotton, Mary Ruckman, and April McKnight; step children, Michael Caudill and Daniel Caudill; 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; her siblings, Brenda Stewart, Dixie Borque, Junior Kellis, and Elizabeth Bush; other extended family and friends.
Cremation services for Carol are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri per Carol's wishes.
