Carol Jean SunRhodes of Fort Washakie, Wyoming, passed away on July 28, 2025, in Lander, Wyoming. She was born on January 18, 1940, in Fort Washakie, Wyoming.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Camille J Day-Jimenez; her grandchildren, Stephanie Jimenez, Tony Greaux, TJ Greaux, and Addy Greaux, Robert Jimenez, and Marissa Jimenez- all of Texas; granddaughter, Carol M. Day-Aragon (Patrick Aragon II); and great-grandchildren Andrew L. Day (Cheradee Day), Tori C. Aragon (Daniel Sanchez), Syris Aragon. She was also blessed with great-great-grandchildren Ashton Wright-Day.

She is further survived by many beloved nieces and nephews: Avis Garcia & family, Rena Deshaw & family, Stephanie Deshaw & family, Cathy Lucas-Tillman, June Tillman, Lynda Tillman, Floyd St. Clair, Delwayne Compton & family, Clifford Robertson, Vicky Dawn Robertson & family, Sonya and Christopher Eagle & family, and Amanda FourSouls & family, and her brother Patrick Mahurin;

Carol was preceded in death by her father, John W. Deshaw Sr. , and her mother, Elinor Compton Deshaw; sisters, Wanda Deshaw and Elaine Tillman; brother, John E. Deshaw Sr.; her best friend, Judy Chinjay; her husbands, Geboe W. Day Sr. and George E. SunRhodes; and her sons, Geboe W. Day Jr., and Sidney Allen Day.
