Carol Lynn Morford Gray, 76, of Diamond Bar, CA and Gulfport, MS passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in Gulfport.
She was born in Creighton, formally Harrison Township, Allegheny County, PA to Lavern A. Morford and Elizabeth A. Bonaretti Morford. She attended East Deer Frazier High School and completed two years at Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, PA. She was employed by US Steel, PA; Graves, Riley & Meadows, Gulfport, MS; Riverside Community Hospital, Riverside, CA; multiple assisted living and nursing communities in CA and Huntington Learning Center in Gulfport. Carol enjoyed cooking and baking, needlepoint, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her spouse, James H. Gray, daughter Erin L. Gibson; her grandchildren, Sophia L. Gibson, Ava L. Gibson, Mia L. Gibson and Maverick T. Gibson; siblings, Duane L. Morford and Brian L. Morford and her dog, Teddy Bear.
Carol absolutely loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed every moment of every day.
The family prefers donations to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society or the American Heart Association.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the O’Neal Road location of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life service at 3:00 p.m.
