Carol Sue Martin Raby, 86, of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on July 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of her devoted family.

Carol was a cherished wife, mother, and Nana, whose unwavering faith and boundless love defined her life. A faithful member of Bible Baptist Church in Harriman, TN, she served the Lord with humility and joy. Teaching children in Sunday School for many years was a highlight of her spiritual journey. She leaves behind a legacy deeply rooted in grace, kindness, and conviction.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Gordon Raby, and their children, Kristi (Brian) Everett and Keith (Ashley) Raby. Carol was a proud and doting Nana to her grandchildren: Hayden (Jordan) Everett, Elizabeth (Dalton) Roberts, Landen (Jill Crass) Everett, Isaac (Caroline White) Raby, Garrett White, and Eleanor Raby. She also leaves behind her precious great-grandchildren: Hayden Norris, Stetson Everett, Rhett Roberts, and Baylor Everett-each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

In her final moments, Carol spoke with peace and purpose, expressing how richly blessed she was by the love and lives of her family. Her final wish was a call to faith: that each of them-and all who read these words-would know the importance of following Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and of raising children to love the Lord and serve Him all their days.

Carol's life was a living testimony to the power of faith and the beauty of a heart fully given to others. She will be deeply missed, but her love and example will live on for generations.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made to Bible Baptist Church of Harriman in Carol's memory.
