Carol Ann Latimer Williams, 65, of Woodway, Texas was called home to Glory on September 29, 2025. Carol was a beloved daughter, sister, wife and mother. She was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully at Providence Health Center in Waco as they sang, "I'll Fly Away".
Carol was born to Bob and Dorothy (McDonald) Latimer in Waco, Texas on February 7, 1960. She was raised in Robinson and graduated high school there in 1978. Carol enjoyed an early career at Olan Mills where she made many life-long friends. Her greater passion, following in the footsteps of her mother, was nursing. Carol worked in labor and delivery at Hillcrest Hospital and several local clinics for numerous years. She finished her career as a nursing educator at McLennan Community College. Carol was an expert seamstress. She loved baking, canning, gardening and had an extensive ceramic dish collection. Carol was a devout Christian and an avid motorcyclist. After retirement, she and her husband found joy in country dancing, playing 42 and traveling. She loved life and made many dear friends along the way.
Carol is preceded in death by her father, Bob Latimer of Robinson; father Duke McDonald of Moffat; sister and husband, Nancy and Jack Gibson of Ft. Worth; brother, Tommy Latimer of Moody; and cousin and wife, John Paul and Kim Raby of Kilgore.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy McDonald of Moffat; husband, John Conley Williams of Woodway; brother, David and Nan Latimer of Leander; brother Kenneth and Patti Latimer of Lancaster, PAa.;, her children Bryce Berry of Waco, Aaron and Jodi Berry of Troy, Cameran and Daniel Berger of Waco; stepsons Jack, Steven and Matthew Williams; her grandchildren Caysen, Kade, Kamden and Cohen Berry, along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 3, at Cogdell Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor Jordan Cramer officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bryce Berry, Aaron Berry, Caysen Berry, Kade Berry, Brandon Berry, and Jay Arnold.
