Caroline Joan Ray, 89, of Refugio, Texas passed away June 20, 2025. She was a former resident of Rockport, Texas.
She was born in Crabtree, Oregon on December 22,, 1935 to Melvin and Nolia Ray. She graduated from Coqville High School in 1953 and Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Portland, Oregon in 1956.
Caroline worked many years as a surgical Registered Nurse in Oregon, hobbies included being a world traveler and an avid hiker.
Upon retirement from nursing she made her home in Rockport and lived her final few years in Refugio, Texas
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Diane Ray of Lebanon, Oregon.
Caroline is survived by a brother Kenneth Ray (Sandy) of Hillboro, Oregon.
A Graveside Service will be held 10 am. Thursday June 26, 2025 at Aransas Memorial Park.
