It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Caroline Sue Simpson. She peacefully left us on July 9, 2025 at the age of 74, surrounded by those who loved her.

Caroline was born on November 21, 1950, and was preceded in death by her parents Dorsey and Dovie, cherished husband, Paul Simpson; her youngest daughter, Malinda; and her grandson, David, her four brothers; and one sister.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Caroline's legacy will live on in the hearts of her 3 surviving children Paul, Mike and Kelli, 9 grandchildren, 2 special granddaughters Madison Stewart and Destinee Singleter and 6 great-grandchildren with two more soon to arrive, who were the light of her life, her brothers Jack James, and Charles Stottlemire, a host of nephews, nieces and her special niece Jill Geiger. She was a loving, nurturing woman whose strength, kindness, and unwavering love shaped the lives of everyone around her.

Throughout her life, Caroline's faith, resilience, and boundless generosity made her a pillar of support for her family and friends. Whether offering wisdom, a kind word, or a helping hand, Caroline always put the needs of others before her own. She had a warm and caring presence that drew people to her, and her absence will leave a void that can never be filled.

Her family was her greatest joy, and she dedicated her life to caring for them with tenderness and grace. Caroline's spirit lives on in the cherished memories of laughter-filled family gatherings, warm hugs, and the love she gave so freely.

Though Caroline is no longer with us in body, her memory will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us with her love and the lessons she taught us.

A private burial will be held by close family and friends at a later date TBD.

Rest in Peace, Caroline.

You were the heart of our family, and you will be deeply missed.
