Carolle F. Fish
Pittsford - Carolle F. Fish, 65, of Pittsford, died on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on July 22, 1959, in Lambton, Quebec.
Carolle married Christopher Fish on August 13, 2016.
She started her teaching career at Lothrop Elementary in Pittsford, then at Leicester Elementary, and then at the Northeast School in Rutland after completing her Master's Degree. Following her retirement from teaching, she continued her work in schools, and in hospitals, with the organization Caring K-9s, working with therapy dogs to bring joy and comfort to others.
Carolle was a vibrant woman who loved life, the Lord, spending time with her family, traveling, taking hikes, and walking along the beach. She loved loud and she loved fiercely. Being her son, daughter, "second son", or "second daughter" was a blessing and a privilege, and her grandchildren were her world. Carolle was like a slice of heaven on earth, bringing a contagious light and positive energy into every room that she entered.
A selfless woman who was kind and caring, Carolle always put the needs of others before herself. Despite the many challenges of life, she always managed to see the bright side with her faith strongly rooted in the Lord. In doing so, she was an inspiration to those around her. Carolle was someone that constantly focused on lifting up others - now it is our turn to remember all the love and light that she brought into this world and into the many, many, lives that she touched. Although we will miss her dearly, we rest assured knowing she's now with God. "MeMe, we love you more than cheesecake."
She is survived by her husband Christopher of Pittsford, her daughter Ashley Bergeron of Jericho and son Jason Isabelle of Missouri, stepchildren Aaron Fish of Maine and Tyler Fish of North Carolina, and grandchildren Ella, Hadley, Landon, and Heidi.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I was very saddened to hear of Carolle´s passing. My wife, Susan so enjoyed working with Carolle at the Lothrop Library. Susan could not have been prouder of Carolle´s motivation and perseverance to become a classroom teacher by earning her undergraduate/graduate degrees as a non-traditional student.
Carolle was a comfort to me for many years via emails, letters and cards during Susan´s long journey with dementia in AZ. I am forever grateful to Carolle for her concern and love for Susan.

Carol was the most alive with light person that we knew. Along with Chris, we were welcomed and mentored.
She always made time to say hello and spread cheer with her gracious smiles.
I´m grateful for having known her.
