Carolyn Petty Obituary
She was born on November 1, 1952, in Tifton, Georgia, to the late Lowell and Sarah Moss.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Virginia M. Smithey; and her first husband, Earl Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Petty; her children, Bobby (Sheena) Johnson, Earl Wm (Lori) Johnson, Tamara Petty (José Gonzalez), and Stacy (Linda) Petty; and grandchildren, Miles and Emery Johnson, and Davin and Linsey Yagcioglu; and a host of extended family and friends.
A service honoring Carol's life has been scheduled for 11:00am on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. The family will begin to receive friends at 10:00am. A private interment will take place at a later date.
Carol will be remembered for her outgoing personality and willingness to help others.
