Mrs. Carolyn “Sue” Presswood, age 73, a resident of Harriman, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at her home with her family by her side. She was born September 25, 1951, in Sunbright, Tennessee. Sue was a member of the Emory Gap Independent Church of God in Harriman. She enjoyed gardening, beach trips, and time with her family. She loved all of her family dearly, especially her great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by “The Love of Her Life” and husband of 39 years, Rufus Presswood; parents, Elbert & Gertrude Snow; and brothers, J.E. Snow and Kenny Snow; and sister, Helen Schubert.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 25, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Graveside services and interment will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood, Tennessee with Rev. Denard Bertram officiating. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Carolyn “Sue” Presswood.
