Mr. Carson Blake Hatcher, age 17, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 13, 2025, from injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident. Mr. Carson was the son of Mr. Chris Hatcher and Mrs. Jenny Israel Richardson. Carson was a lovable young man that was very talented. His talents included playing music, especially his drums, dancing, and eating waffles with peanut butter and syrup. He was a Die-Hard Clemson Tiger fan and enjoyed hanging out with his friends. Surviving Carson are his parents: Chris Hatcher (Mellisa Martin) and Jenny Israel Richardson (Wesley); one sister: Kaylee Hatcher; maternal grandparents: Carl and Nancy Israel; paternal grandparents: Dan and Patricia Hatcher; best friends: Charlton Chestnut and Melissa Williams; and friends: Payton, Nolan, Malichi, Jake, Tanner, and Chaske. Carson is predeceased by his maternal great grandparents: Billy and Marie Baker and Lonzo and Madge Israel; and paternal great grandparents: Wade and Edna Hatcher and Clyde and Margaret Johnson. Visitation will be held Tuesday July 15, 2025, from 5 – 7 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor. A Funeral Service will be 2 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at White Savannah Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. David Stevens and Rev. Stephen Hyman officiating. Burial will follow the service at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Nichols, SC.
