Catherine Edwards Obituary

Catherine V (Slattery) Edwards, 84, of Tewksbury, formerly of South Boston, passed away peacefully surround by her family on Monday, November 18, 2024.
She was the daughter of the late George J Slattery and Mary E. (Nee) Slattery.
She is survived by her husband James Edwards Sr of Tewksbury, her three children James Jr. and his wife Jeanne (predeceased) of Dorchester, MA, Margaretanne Jordan and her husband Glenn of Woodbridge, VA, and Maryellen Michelson and her husband Eric of Groton, MA. She also is survived by her six grandchildren, Patrick Appiani, Seana, Rachael, James III and Holly Edwards and Seamus Michelson.
She is survived by her sister Margaret Mulrey of South Boston, Bridget McCarthy and her husband Eugene of Dorchester. She was predeceased by her brothers, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Brother Martin Slattery SSE, John Slattery, James and Helen Slattery, Dennis Slattery and James Mulrey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Catherine will be missed by her family and friends.

Calling hours are Wednesday, November 20th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. Her funeral procession will begin on Thursday, November 21st at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11: 30 a.m. at St. William Church, 1351 Main Street, Route 38, Tewksbury, MA. Interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne will be at a later date.
