Salvador Ybarra Obituary

Salvador Ybarra Jr., age 62, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025. Born in Los Angeles, California, Salvador later made his home in New Mexico, where he built a life surrounded by family, friends, and community. In his younger years, Salvador was a talented track athlete, known for his determination, speed, and competitive spirit. Those same qualities carried through his life - he approached every challenge with strength and perseverance. Salvador is survived by his loving children, Teanna Ybarra, Salvador Ybarra Ill, and Jessica Marie Ybarra; and his sisters, Sandra Ybarra and Barbara Gonzalez. His warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Salvador's memory and the lasting impact he had on those around him.
