Cathleen C. Burback, 90 of Rushville Nebraska passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Pioneer Manor in Hay Springs Nebraska.She was born January 22, 1935 in Atkinson Nebraska to Anton and Cora (Davis) Weichman.She attended Saint Joseph's Hall Catholic School graduating Valedictorian of her class in 1953.On June 24,1954 she was united in marriage to Richard H.(Dick) Burback of Scottsbluff Nebraska.To this union 5 children were born. Sheryl, husband Don Brunz of Gering Nebraska, Rick, wife Velta of Lavon Texas, Pat of Hay Springs Nebraska, Bonnie, husband Mike Pelster of Scottsbluff Nebraska, Joel, wife Pam of Rushville Nebraska.She was a member of several clubs and groups throughout her lifetime, including being a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary, The Immaculate Conception Alter Society and the Classy Lassies.She was preceded in death by her husband Dick, her parents, Dicks parents, her infant sister Mary, her brothers Charles and John (Bud), her Brother in laws and her Sister in laws. Cathy loved singing and entertaining with music and acting. Entertaining company with good food, conversation and decorated tables.A rosery will be held on Friday July 25, 2025 at 9:45 AM with services to follow at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Rushville Nebraska.
