Charles R. Cappillino, 41, of Poughkeepsie, died on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Westchester Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born, January 30, 1984, in Albany, he was the son of the late Anthony Cappillino Sr. and Sharon Hauptman Cappillino. His mother survives at home.
Charles enjoyed listening to music, attending concerts and going for walks, especially with his dog Tucker.
In his free time, he enjoyed travelling all over the world often on Disney cruises.
Known to enjoy life in the spur of the moment, he had a personality unlike most and was affectionately known as princess.
Along with his mom he is survived by his triplet sisters, Amy Rose and Mary Rose; his brothers Anthony Cappillino Jr, and wife Frances, and Peter and companion Rudy.
He is also survived by his niece, Jazmine Cappillino and godson Matthew Hauptman as well as many aunts, and uncles and cousins, and his four-legged friend Tucker.
Calling hours will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, to, on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., 4365 Albany Post Rd., Hyde Park, NY.
A Funeral Mass will be at 10AM on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Regina Coeli Church, 2 Harvey Street, Hyde Park, NY.
Burial will follow at Union Cemetery of Hyde Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park.
