Born September 4, 1943, he was one of two sons of Charles and Elsie (Werner) Davis of Flint, MI. Charles graduated from Flint Central High School, class of '62. He loved to make people laugh and smile, and was the "King" of dad jokes the cornier the better in fact, nothing made him happier than being silly and hearing his grandkids laughing.
