Charles Guenzi Obituary

Born on August 7, 1951, in Canton, OH, to Louis and Narcissa Guenzi. He attended the University of Cincinnati and earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He worked for the majority of his career at Celanese in both the Rock Hill, SC and Narrows, VA locations.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Narcissa, as well as his only brother Gary Guenzi.
Chuck is survived by his wife Barbara, Marijo McNeil (Phillip), daughter of his first wife, Debbe Guenzi, Marijo's children Kyra and Vaughn, his son Stephen (George), Stephen's children Tommy and Zena, and his brother Gary's wife Melinda.
A celebration of life is being planned for later in the fall in North Carolina and details will be shared directly with family and friends.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and care team who provided excellent care and comfort during this difficult time.

JoAnn and Mark are so very sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. So many memories of being in the construction trailer at PPG in Shelby come to mind. We regret that we were not diligent in coordinating visits with you and Barb over the years. Chuck, you will be missed. May your life be a blessing!!

I´m so sorry to learn of Chuck´s passing. My heart goes out to Barb and the family. There are so many good memories of time spent with Chuck and Barb when Brian and I lived in North Carolina. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
