Charles Rohrig Obituary

Charles Arthur Rohrig, age 84, was reunited with his wife, Kathleen, on Monday, September 15, 2025. He was born in Detroit on October 20, 1940, son of the late Charles and Hattie (Deimel) Rohrig and married Kathleen Davlantes on November 14, 1964. Chuck loved antique cars and was a "car guy" through and through, retiring from General Motors in 2000. Chuck spent his retirement years in Lexington where he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters and great-grandchildren. "Papa Chuck" never missed a school pickup or drop off, band concert, cheerleading competition, volleyball game or horse show. He was very active and always eager to help anyone with anything he could. Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen, and is survived by daughter, Angela (Rick) Faszczewski; two sons, Scott and Dean; two grandchildren, Ashleigh (Caleb) Fast and Allie Faszczewski; two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Bolt and Ezra Fast. Per his wishes, no services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family or Mama's Mission Food Pantry.
