Mr. Charles Robert “Bobby” Vance, age 78, a resident of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at his home. He was born May 20, 1947, in Rockwood, Tennessee to Charles Casper Boyd “Buck” Vance and Mildred Ruth Pope Vance. He was a member of the South Harriman Baptist Church in Harriman, Tennessee and was a retired Accountant with Tennessee Valley Authority (T.V.A.). Bobby was a car enthusiast, especially enjoying Ford Mustangs and Chevy Chevelles, owning, working on, and driving several of them. He also enjoyed old time bluegrass gospel music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie Jane Reid Vance; son, B.J. Vance; brother, John David Vance; and sisters, Marilyn Ruth Vance and Mary Elizabeth Dodd.
Survivors include:
Daughters: Tana Leigh Daniel
Natalie Payge Vance
Son: Jacob Vance
Sister: Cynthia
Lifelong Friend: Ronnie
And several cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 12:00 noon from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary. Committal services and interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is honored to serve the family of Mr. Charles Robert “Bobby” Vance.
