CHUCK WILBANKS
Seneca – Charles "Chuck" Edward Wilbanks, 61, passed away on June 29, 2025, at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born on February 8, 1964, in Oconee County, South Carolina, Chuck was the son of the late CL Willbanks (the late Betty) and Anna Howell Roach (the late Kenneth). Chuck retired from Itron after 33 years of dedicated service, where he held the position of Setup Service Operator. He had a lifelong passion for rock and roll music, enjoyed driving his mustang, loved attending car shows, and enjoyed eating at Skins and Time Drive In. Chuck also had a special place in his heart for his beloved dog, Pig. Above all, he was a devoted and loving father and grandfather, whose kindness and care touched the lives of all who knew him.
Chuck is survived by his son, Charles "Scotty" Scott Wilbanks; daughter, Kelly Wilbanks (David Gaddy); sisters, Celeste Wilbanks, Pam Boggs (Larry); step-brothers, Robbie Roach, Lee Roach; grandchildren, Bayleigh Brooke James Wilbanks, Carter Warren Mortimer, Aubree Rose Brown, Hollis James Brown, Heidi Kate Brown, Ava Olee Gaddy, and Collins Kristian Gaddy.
In addition to his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by his brother, Roy Dale Wilbanks.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 pm, Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
The family would like to express their gratitude and give thanks to Bobby Lee for the kind and loving care he provided to Chuck.
The family is at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chuck's name may be made to Sandifer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 69, Westminster, SC 29693. Condolences may be expressed online by visiting www.sandiferfuneralhome.com.
