Charlidell (Davis) Wilson, born on December 15, 1932, in Nemo, Texas, was known by all for her generous spirit. She passed away on July 5, 2025.
Charlidell was a member of the Glenview Church of Christ and a cherished resident of Glen Rose, Texas. She was married to her devoted husband, Doyle Wilson, on July 8, 1950, and together they built a life filled with love, joy, and dedication to family and community. For many years, Charlidell served as a cafeteria cook for Glen Rose ISD, a role she performed with great pride. Her generosity and support were experienced by many, both within the school district and beyond. Her love for cooking was not just a job, but a way to nurture and care for those around her.
Charlidell is survived by her loving husband of just a few days of 75 years of marriage, Doyle Wilson, her sons Terry (Melody) Wilson and Kenneth (Karen) Wilson, and her daughter-in-law Jo Wilson. She is also fondly remembered by her grandchildren Zeke (Jamie) Wilson, Emily (Derek) Freiley, Kelly Wilson, Drew (Christy) Wilson, Alysa (Joey) Ridings, and their families, including great-grandchildren Kasen, Kaylee, Kylieigh, Kirstyn, Braxton, Brinleigh, and Claire.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Coll and Salley Davis, her brother Larry and his wife Barbara Davis, her son Mike Wilson, and granddaughter Jade Wilson.
Charlidell left us all with the warmth of her love and the inspiration of her dedication to her family and community.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Squaw Creek Cemetery in Glen Rose.
We encourage family and friends to leave memories and upload photos of Charlidell to her memorial page, so we can all remember the wonderful woman she was.
