Mr. Charlie Adam Baker, age 87, of Pinnacle, NC passed away on July 2, 2025, at Novant Rehab in Winston Salem, NC. He was born in Surry County, February 28, 1938, the son of the late John William “Willie” and Lola Marion Baker. Mr. Baker was a well-known farmer and friend in the Shoals community and a faithful member of the Fairview Church of Shoals. He was veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his close friend, Van Tucker, and many other friends and neighbors.
Charlie was well known for the simple, humble, and selfless life he lived. He put others before himself and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His neighbors, friends and community knew him as truly ‘salt of the earth.”
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, 2:00 PM, at the Fairview Church of Shoals 3692 Quaker Church Road, Pinnacle, NC 27043 with Rev. Alex Reale officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fairview Church of Shoals, 3692 Quaker Church Road, Pinnacle, NC 27043. Funeral services are being provided by Moody Funeral Service of Mount Airy.
