Charlie Brock, 78, went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family and friends on March 26, 2025.
He was born on July 5, 1946, to Edwin and Lula Brock.
Charlie did not meet a stranger. To meet Charlie was to love him and you didn't forget him. He was known for his quick wit, humor and his love for Jesus. No one ever had a conversation with Charlie that the love of Jesus was not mentioned. He loved the Lord and witnessed to everyone that would listen. Charlie was called to ministry in his early years serving through the bus ministry and by going door to door. He wanted everyone to know the love of Christ. Charlie also loved to fish, golf, go to auctions, rummaging through thrift stores and spending time with his grandson.
In addition to his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by his wife Sandra Brock; daughter Amy Watts; sister Alma Brock and brother Harrison Brock.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Stephanie K. Brock (Jerry) and Rebecca
Finstad (Shawn); grandson Trey Watts; sisters Sue Evans and Ruby Green; brother Doyle Brock; his best friend John Wade and his two fur babies Gracie and Shorty. Charlie also leaves behind a large extended family that he loved dearly.
A very special thank you to his nurses and caregivers. They went above and beyond caring for Charlie. Not only did they care for him, but they loved him. The family is forever grateful to you all.
Receiving of friends will be on Monday, March 31, 2025 at Fairview Baptist Tabernacle Church from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM, with the funeral service following immediately at 7:00 PM with Rev. Jason Robertson officiating. Burial will be held on Tuesday April 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sweetwater Memorial Park.
