Christopher Johnson Obituary

Christopher Jermain Johnson, 48, of White Hall, was a giving, quiet and humble man who loved his family and his music. He also proudly gave his life to Christ.
He went to be with the Lord Friday, June 27, 2025, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
Chris was born April 16, 1977, in Pine Bluff, son of Donnell Johnson and Linda Burks Braxton.
He was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff. Chris graduated from the Job Corps.
Chris was preceded in death by his first wife, Sherri Johnson; son, Alex Wilkinson; father, Donnell Johnson; step-father, Richard Holman; uncle, Curtis Burks; and mother-in-law, Martha Saucier.
Survivors include his wife, Traci Johnson, whom he married April 2, 2023 at White Hall United Pentecostal Church; mother, Linda Burks Braxton (Albert); five children, Krishawn Johnson (Jera), Teara Walls, Linzey Johnson, Caileigh Johnson and Chrislynn Sharpe; bonus daughter, Jada Watkins; siblings, Carlos Frazier, Maranda Holman (Sylvester), Marquis Holman, Prince Okojie (Sierrah), Natoyia Johnson-Etherly (Delucus), Shundrell Johnson, Donnell Johnson and Lonnell Johnson; grandchildren, Kris Johnson and Daxton Cobb; nephews, Messiah Holman and Sylas Faulkner; nieces, Kennedy Johnson and Ariel Robinson; and a host of aunts and uncles.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2025, with the services beginning at 2:00 p.m. at White Hall United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Chris Dixon officiating.
