Christopher Arron Marler, 36, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Christopher was born on November 19, 1988, to John Frederick Marler and Betty Ann Riffle Marler Spruill. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, kind heart, and the love he shared with family and friends.
Christopher loved the outdoors and had a passion for fishing, whether it was a quiet morning by the water or a full day spent reeling in his next big catch. He was happiest when working with his hands-fixing engines, tinkering with vehicles, and finding ways to make something run better than before. He enjoyed mudding with family, and taking his motorcycle out on the open road, always ready for the next adventure. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family and friends. His easy laugh and generous nature made everyone around him feel welcome. Anyone who knew Christopher knew how much he loved his mother.
Christopher was a proud member of Centerpoint Church, where he found strength, encouragement, and community.
He was preceded in death by his father, John F. Marler; grandmothers, Melva C. Barrett Marler and Rebecca M. Efaw Riffle; grandfathers, Fred T. Marler and Lloyd H. Riffle, Sr.; Papoo, Robert L. Bain; and uncle, James A. Riffle. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Dustie Bain Marler; his mother, Betty Riffle Marler Spruill and husband Johnnie; his children, Kendyn R. Marler, Rebecca A. Marler, Trenton Bain, Anna Bain, and Autumn D. Fitts; his sister, Heather M. Cash and husband Matthew; his nephews, Zachariah Cash, Marshall Cash, and Miles Cash; his niece, Leann M. Caldrea; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
