Let's just rip the Band-Aid off:
Christy Lynnett Crundall was a whole damn experience. Born in Napa, CA on August 11, 1965, and peacing out (reluctantly, and after flipping off cancer one last time) in Sacramento on July 3, 2024 - she lived louder, cursed more creatively, and made more weird-ass noises than anyone you've ever met.
Christy had a degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State (1988) - meaning she could psychoanalyze you and roast your entire existence in under 30 seconds. Not done being a badass, she later got her degree in Computer Graphics in 2007 - because why the hell not?
She held no less than 18 jobs, but her all-time faves were Wendy's (where she ruled the fryer like a queen), and Uber, because no one tells Christy when to clock in. She also logged an Olympic-level number of hours in World of Warcraft and was one broken headset away from full-blown gaming legend.
Christy is survived by:
Cassidy (aka her pain the assidy) says:
"Mom, I finally watched Game of Thrones - and I know you'd be pissed it took me this long. I miss hearing you talk shit, your dumb jokes, your smart jokes, and your crazy-ass sound effects when you stubbed your toe or talked about politics.
I'm sorry I didn't stay.I'm sorry I wasn't there to say goodbye.
I miss your drama. I miss being part of your chaos. I miss you."
Christy had a sense of humor like no other, the mouth of a sailor, and the soul of someone who gave a shit - even if she'd act like she didn't. She talked like a tornado, laughed like a drunk hyena, and could find the funny in even the darkest moments. And if you ever tried to argue with her, good luck - she had comebacks for your comebacks. And she'll never let you live it down / She definitely wouldn't forget.
She lived loud, laughed harder, and never once backed down from being the bold, messy, hilarious woman she was.
She wasn't everyone's cup of tea - but she was My whole damn pot.
So here's to Christy/Mom/Friend May the afterlife have strong Wi-Fi, unlimited Ice Tea, and zero rules. May she be up there now, raiding digital dungeons, flipping off bureaucracy, and finally resting that stubborn, brilliant brain of hers. Keep sending little messages here and there.
Hopefully Grandma Sue & Grandpa Phil are giving you the biggest hug you never got to receive.
Rest in peace, you glorious, complicated, pain-in-the-ass legend. We'll never have another like you - and that's probably for the best They could never live up to your standards.
I Love you Mom! Life is weird and is only getting weirder. Keep an eye out for me & Save a god damn Hug for Me,Mavrik & Marley as it is wayyy long overdue
I Love you!
