Clayton "Casey" Coolbroth, 60, of Clinton, MN, passed away on June 24, 2025, at Legacy Commons Senior Living in Clinton.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Grand Stay Hotel in Glenwood, MN.
Clayton “Casey” Louis Coolbroth was born on October 20, 1964, in Fridley, Minnesota, to Frank and Felicia (Elsenrath) Coolbroth. He, along with his brothers: Robert and Frank Jr., spent his childhood in both Oregon and Minnesota.
After completing his education, Casey entered the workforce and held a variety of jobs throughout his life, most notably in cabinet installation. A talented craftsman, he took great pride in working with his hands. He lived in both Oregon and Minnesota over the years.
Casey was united in marriage to Rhonda Peterson and together they welcomed a daughter, Tracy. He later married Jay Stewart, and they were blessed with a daughter, Brittany “Ivy.”
In 2019, Casey suffered a stroke that significantly impacted his ability to work. Despite the challenges, he remained active and passionate about the things he loved.
Casey had a deep love for riding his Harley-Davidson and often went on road trips with his brother, Robert. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially deer and pheasant hunting whenever he had the chance. One of his greatest joys was hosting gatherings at his farm, grilling out, sharing stories, and enjoying the company of friends and family.
He is survived by his two daughters: Tracy (Evan) Kyro of Fran, MN and Ivy (Joshua Bonebright) Stewart of Watertown, SD; two grandchildren: Trevin Kyro and Ava Kyro; mother, Felicia (William “Bill”) Knutson of Glenwood, MN; five siblings: Robert “Bob” (Sidney) Coolbroth of Spicer, MN; Frank Jr. (Susanne) Coolbroth of McAllister, OK; James “Jimmy” (Tammy) Knutson of Grove City, MN; Denise Steel of Washougal, WA; John “Johnny” (Sidney) Frank of Gresham, OR; and many nieces and nephews.
