He was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina to Patsy W. Perry and the late Cleveland "CG" Perry and was preceded in death by his sister, Amy Perry.
Cleveland loved to go bass fishing with his free time. A dedicated employee of Quality Equipment, always willing to help with his knowledge and advice, considered by many to be the "best parts man to ever work for John Deere".
He leaves behind his loving mom, Patsy W. Perry of the home; his brother, Malcolm Perry; his nieces and nephews and his extended family.
The family will have a private graveside service. Friends may come visit and sign the register at the funeral home on Monday, July 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 4:30 PM at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services, Jackson Chapel, 313 E. Jefferson Street, Jackson, NC, 27845.
