Born on July 14, 1935, to Daniel and Marie Watters, Clint proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 21 years, exemplifying commitment and patriotism throughout his life.
Clint was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Watters and by his parents.
He is survived by his three children and stepson: Jimmy Sabo of Atlanta, Texas; Clinton Ray Watters Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Thomas Ernie Watters of Champaign, Illinois; and Elisabeth Luck of Durham, North Carolina. Clint also leaves behind six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Hanner Funeral Service in Atlanta, Texas. A private Interment will follow at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Texarkana, Texas, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with family in attendance.
In honor of Clint's legacy and lifelong service, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
